Overview
HP Authentication Manager, along with its companion apps (collectively known as the HP Authentication Suite), is typically sold and installed on HP Workpath-capable devices by an authorized HP installer using the HP Command Centre portal.
Prior to the printer installation, the server-side configuration is required to be completed by your Microsoft Azure IT team.
Who to Contact
Under normal circumstances, you should reach out to the organization that supplied your printer:
- HP Direct
- Your HP Reseller or Distributor
If you do not have an authorized HP agent, please email us at Sales@datasec.com.au. We can assist with your purchase and help you locate a certified HP installer or we can perform the installation on your behalf.
Alternative Ordering Options
You can also place an order via Azure Marketplace, where you’ll find our HP Authentication Suite product line. Options include:
- A certified Workpath-capable printer bundled with the applications
- The applications alone.
Important: Even if purchased through Azure Marketplace, installation still requires an authorized installer to deploy the HP Authentication Manager Suite on your Print fleet using the HP Command Centre portal.
HP Command centre Portal is not normally made available to the Public and or Customers and normally is only available through HP Direct and or an Authorised HP certified reseller.
Self-Installation
Some customers may already have access to their own HP’s Command Centre Portal and can perform self-install.
If your team has the capability to Install HP Authentication Manager on your fleet including Commission of your Azure services, then you may proceed with the following instructions (see detailed guide below).
