Hear is a List of Potential Error Codes that may appear on your HP Device
AI01 - Please check network connections and base URL values.
AI02 - Invalid credentials or server error.
AI03 - Please check time and date settings.
AI04 - Server error - failed to obtain token.
AI05 - Server error - failed to obtain config.
AI06 - API version is different, please consult with your HP representative.
Microsoft Error AADSTS700016: Application with Identifier XXXXX was no Found etc..
Please check Printer License settings ClientID Value: via HP Command Centre, It's Missing or Invalid
Microsoft Error AADSTS900023: Specified tenant identifier XXXXX is neither a valid DNS name etc...

AI02 Possible Causes
If this is the First time you are trying to launch the Printer app, and you receive any of the above error codes then these errors relate to bad or missing custom printer license settings. Check your HP Command Centre configuration
Special Note: You may have received a Final Onboarding PDF document with your HP Command center Printer settings, Please Copy the values into a Text Editor like notepad first, this will ensure no hidden characters are lurking, then copy from your notepad the values into HP Authentication Manager Configuration, also before you paste the values just erase any values that is present, Just to make sure the fields are blank before you paste.
Some of the Key Values that will cause these errors are:
- BaseURL - Missing or not correct.
- API Key - Missing or not correct.
- Please ensure you manually Select from the Configuration setting called Device option - Console User name (First-Name+Last Name) even if you can see the Default Value as First Name+Last Name, you must manually Select the value from the drop down list (this is a Current Bug and will be resolved in Future Releases. This is the Major cause of error code AI02
Other Causes
- Do you have an Internet Connection, please check!
- Was there a Firmware and or Software update recently - Please confirm compatibility
- Was the HP Command center configuration task - successful or did it Fail?, Retry if failed and Reboot Printer.

Solution(s)
- Did you complete your Onboarding Process, and receive your custom printer license settings, if the answer is no then your printer has not been configured with your company's license Keys, please refer to the following article for instructions on how to order HP Authentication Manager.
- Else If the printer was working and you had no issues in the past with Sign-in then or Our API Services maybe temporarily off Line, please wait 2-3 Minutes and try again.
- How about your other Printers, are they having the same issue? if not it could be printer connections. Seek IT support.
- Check your latest custom printer license settings to ensure the values have not changed by using HP Command Centre.
- Power off Printer and Try Again - especially if there was a Firmware and or Software Up
