Can I use my HP Secure Authentication Mobile app on any printer

Modified on Mon, 27 May at 9:03 AM

New Versions of the HP Authentication Suite of applications have been released as of 16th July 2024 - See What's New!

Yes you can, as long as the printer has been setup by your admin team with HP Authentication Manager!

By scanning the QR Code generated by the HP Authentication Manager app on one of your company's printers, you can conveniently register your mobile phone to your Microsoft 365/Azure account.

Registration only happens once, and thereafter it enables you to effortlessly sign in to any of your company's printers using either the QR Code or Bluetooth (BLE) through the mobile app.

Please note, if you want to sign-in using BLE your printer must have a compatible BLE Reader.

All Printers must be using HP Authentication Manager Workpath App on the Printers Console.

BLE- (Bluetooth Low Energy)

Disclaimer!

Some customer will have deployed their printer fleet across multi-geographical locations, therefore if you travel to those locations then you may need to reset you HP Secure Authentication Mobile app and Re-Register using one of the Printers in your new Location.
