If you find that when you launch HP Secure Authentication Mobile app BLE, that your signal reaches out to another printer quite some distance away from you.
Reason
Your Mobile app has an Option to set the Signal Strength, the default is around 200-300mm (11") away from a Reader, however if you slide the controls over to the FAR Settings then it is feasible for the signal to be picked up by any reader that is up to 4-10 Meters, away from you.
Position of the readers can be affected if they are directly behind the Console Screen, therefore being shielded, so please fully test you mobile phone access to ensure you are not sending signals across to another device and therefore signing out another user.
Workaround
Please consider changing the Distance slider to Near until you are satisfied that you are not reaching out to another Printer, basically you should be able to stand directly in front of your printers console screen, holding your Phone and then be able to press the BLE and or Allow it to Auto Launch the BLE
Our Default Settings are based on Standing directly in front of the Reader! for Both Android and IOS and the Reader model..
Note:If you change the Distance and still having issues, please Uninstall the HP Secure Authentication Mobile Application and Reinstall and let it use the Factory Default settings!
