Search V3 Release update
Here is a List of items you may want to check if you are having issues with HP Authentication Manager and some tips
1. Ensure the Printer is not configured in HP Command Center for Sign in Once - We do not support HPID2. We do not support any other Sign in Application like HP Secure Access
3. Please check the HP Authentication manager certified Firmware Support
4. Reboot the Printer after an Upgrade has taken place.
5. Sometimes a Firmware Upgrade may fail, you may need to Format the Printer and Reload Firmware Via USB, please be aware if you have to format your printer, you MUST uninstall all the apps and remove the Printer from HP Command Centre first.
6. If you have a Broken Firmware and you cannot Remove the apps from HP Command Centre then please use https://jetadvantagesupport.ext.hp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038066591-Reset-Your-Device and then Format your Printer and Reload Firmware from USB, then re-install.
7. As of September 2025, we will support Workpath-based printers with 4.3" screens for Universal Print, Pull Print, and Direct Print functionality.
Please note: Due to the limited screen size, 4.3" devices are not suitable for navigating more complex applications such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, or Mailflow/Outlook. These apps require larger displays for a usable and intuitive experience.
