Upgrading from HP Authentication Manager V3 to V4 Self-Hosted

If you're planning to upgrade from HP Authentication Manager V3, which currently uses Datasec’s Azure API and Keycloak-hosted services, to Version 4 (available from October 2025), and you would like to fully Self-host the required Azure services within your own tenant then you will need to do the following.


You need to provision:

  • Azure SignalR Service
  • Azure Log Analytics Workspace
  • Azure Custom Security Attributes
  • Reconfigure and upgrade all Printers
  • Upgrade all HP Authentication Suite of Apps, like OneDrive, SharePoint etc..


To guide you through this process, please refer to the upgrade documents linked below. It contains all necessary steps and resources to support a smooth transition.
