Issue

Mailflow fails to complete the login process with the following error message,

Please Note as of April 2025, we now have applied the Application consent permissions directly within the HP Authentication Manager Registered App. please check the Latest installation Guides and User Manuals

The most likely issues are as follows

1. Your IT admin may not have given Admin Consent permissions. Ask your IT administrator to confirm you have access to the application.

2. Your Azure/Entra environment may have several Conditional Access policies in place that are preventing users from accessing the MS365 application via the printer's browser. These policies could be based on factors such as OS, IP address, location, or security settings. For example, policies might include:

  • OS Restrictions: Blocking access from outdated or unsupported operating systems.
  • IP Address Filtering: Allowing access only from specific IP ranges.
  • Location-Based Policies: Restricting access to certain geographic locations.
  • Device Compliance: Ensuring that only compliant devices can access the application.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Requiring additional verification steps for access.
  • Device Compliance: Ensuring that only compliant Intune onboarded devices can access the MS Office 356 infrastructure.
  • Require approved client app” policy
  • Require app protection policy

You will need to ask the customer's IT security team to review the Azure environment and take appropriate action.
