How to Setup Azure Passwordless Authentication

This should be completed by your Azure IT/Security consultant and is only a Very simply Guide.

Here is one method for setting up your Azure Tenant users to use Password less mode, however like everything with Azure, you can also apply conditional access at different levels. Your IT/Security consultant should make the decision on where and how best to apply Password less MFA Authentication.

If not configured correctly, then users will be prompted to use Username + Password, however if you have configured it correctly then no username or passwords will be required, just the 2 Digit random code generated by Microsoft needs to be entered via the users Microsoft Authenticator mobile Application. 

Your Azure IT Security consultant, would be aware of these functions, and may have policies already in place to adopt Microsoft Authentication Password less Flow. If not, please speak with your team on how best to ensure the customer is ready for password less mode before you request a License.

Please remember the HP Authentication Suite of applications has been built around Microsoft's Password less anti phishing resistant technology. therefore, users must already have password less mode enabled.

Once again, your IT Security specialist may want to adopt the passwordless MFA Flow based on the Azure App Registration of HP Authentication Manager, whereby users of the HP Authentication manager application will be re-directed to use the Microsoft Passwordless MFA Flow, while other apps / Devices and services may use alternate Authentication Flows.
